Character Spotlight

Every week we will be featuring a new face of the realm in a fun format. All you have to do to sign up is volunteer one of your Characters in Discord!

Victims (Current & hopefuls):

• Post in #character-spotlight the name of one of your characters, and be given the next available number. Congrats you now have a chance to show off that character for the whole server. 
• A number will be rolled every Friday, to randomly choose our next week’s character spotlight. If your number is picked, you will be asked to send us a write up about your character to tell us more about what makes your character unique and provide a character picture.
• The details of your character will be posted in less than 2 days on Sunday for all to see and remain up for a month. Not much time but you can prepare your character's write up prior to being picked. A list of ideas/suggestions are posted to the left of this. Any ideas can be used any may be excluded.You can also write from the heart if you would prefer. -->
• Please remember to send at least one picture of your character as well, whether your token, character histories portrait or brand-new art. Multiple images may be submitted.
• You will be rewarded a Treasure Point for being exploited recognized in the community.
• After you have been posted you can reply (in-character) to any comments made from the Peanut Gallery.

 

Peanut Gallery (anyone not currently spotlighted):

• Each Sunday ANY active or retired characters who know the spotlighted character (in-character), may comment (in-character) about the presented character.
• These comments can be impressions of, thoughts about, or retold stories from quests/events with the spotlighted character.These comments are NOT in reaction/about the information given by the Spotlight.
  1. Ex: With a Spotlight on Reglidon, Ama might mention how upset she still is about the incident with her hair… Others might retell his earning his place as the Blackstaff. A newer character might leave their impression of him from a quest they did for him.
  2. Another way to think of the comment section, is as if the characters were drinking in a Tavern and the spotlighted character was the topic. The comment section is for characters who have met/know the Spotlighted character, and their in-character thoughts, feelings, stories.

Note to All involved: 

• Any information learned from the Character Spotlight will remain as OUT of character knowledge, and may not be used in character. It may be discussed (out of character) in the #Character-spotlight or general chat on Discord. 
• Any comments/replies may be treated as IN-character information, and may affect your characters relations.  
• You may prepare your character’s information in advance, but please do NOT post it anywhere public until you are chosen. All forms CAN be private messaged to @Magistrate (Mrs.Wiggy) at any time for safekeeping.
